5 reasons why short ski breaks should be on your radar

Short ski breaks should be on your radar. They are not simply ‘squashed up’ versions of a normal weeklong ski holiday. They are an incredible opportunity to maximise your annual ski time, minimise organisational fuss, discover new parts of the Alps, with minimal disruption to your daily life.

Here are 5 reasons you should try a luxury ski break this winter.

1. Adventure - discover new resorts


When committing to a one-week ski holiday it can sometimes be more comforting to go with what you know. With resorts such as Chamonix, Les Gets and Morzine all around one hour from Geneva airport, use short breaks as a way to adventure. Discover other ski resorts. Test the water. Explore. If you love what you find, go back!

2. Have everything taken care of


Short ski breaks are specifically designed to take away all the fuss and organisational stress from the skier – that’s you! Their entire premise is to keep you on your skis, enjoying the mountain or off the piste and savoring delicious foods, or spas, or great après, while everyone else runs around after you. That sounds like something you should try!

3. Save your annual leave


A weekend ski break is the perfect way to save your annual leave for other wonderful holidays throughout the year. Don’t use up your holidays to get on the piste. You don’t need to. Ski Short. Ski often.

4. Maximise your piste time


Carefully planned short ski breaks will take you straight from the airport, direct to the piste, maximising your time on skis. You have your skis fitted on-piste, your luggage taken directly to your chalet and you’ll be picked up when you are done. On your last day go from the piste to the airport with your luggage once again following suit. Your job, is just, to ski.

5. It’s good for your health.

Skiing in the mountains is a great physical workout. It gets the heart pumping, the muscles working, and it really helps you switch off from the stresses of everyday life. All of the above are essential for your health and wellbeing. Take a break, on skis, for your health. Give more to yourself, so that you, in turn, have more to give to others.
