Boutique Recommends: The Summer Edit! This week, Boutique Recommends: The Summer Edit! This week, we're recommending our favourite activites in Les Gets this summer... 1. Mont Caly - the baby sister of Mont Chery, which you might know from winter skiing! This little mountain peak has a lovely restaurant (Les Chevrelles) and beautiful walks which wind round the side of the slopes, making them suitable for children or those who don't want to climb a steep mountain path! There are stunning views across the Portes du Soleil to Mont Blanc and cattle grazing the Alpine pastures. 2. 4 Seasons Luge - think mini-rollercoaster, where you control the speed! Our kids dragged us on this at Easter and we have to admit it was actually pretty fun, but only because we had the braking seat :) Found in the Perrieres car park, this is a pretty quick activity and we suggest having a couple of goes as you'll get braver each time! 3. Lac des Ecoles - Inflatable water park - Pick a hot sunny day and head for a spot by the little lake in Les Gets, where there is a brilliant Wibit inflatable aqua-course! There's one course for older kids and adults and another for over 4s, but younger ones can still have fun paddling in the edge of the lake or on the new splash pad... 4 + 5. Les Gets Golf Club - 18 holes with incredible views from the whole course, and also you can enjoy spotting your favourite ski runs as you go round! Le Vaffieu, a favourite ski lunch stop makes a cameo as the half-way house in the summer and there's a small driving range too if you don't have time for a round! 6. Pumptrack - there's a brilliant little pump track for kids in the centre of the village opposite the Mairie and then a bigger one up near the lake!
