Ski with a GB Olympic skier

On-snow experiences are a central part of any mountain holiday which is why we ensure that your ski instructors and guides are some of the most talented and experienced  in the world. 

This year, our in-house ski instructor team has gone Olympic-standard with the addition of GB Olympic skier, Andy Freshwater.

Andy spent 8 years on the British Alpine Ski Team and 6 years racing on the World Cup Circuit alongside the Bell brothers. He represented GB in Sestriere in 1997, at Vail in 1999 and at the Nagano Olympics in 1998.  He is 3 times British Champion in Downhill and in Super G.

He also spent 5 years as an opener for the Euro test speed test, setting the standard for all ski instructors in Europe. He represented BASI* in their ski demo team at two interski instructor Congresses - delivering workshops and show-casing the British teaching method to instructors from all over the world.  Andy also coaches and trains ski instructors of the future for BASI. He specialising in the technical courses and is the examiner for the highest technical level ski exam in the BASI system.

This winter you can find him at The Boutique Chalet Company teaching and guiding Boutique clients in the ski holidays.
